Powerful new features and capabilities in Gym Assistant enable you to operate your gym with full digital automation.
- New Members: After completing online sign-up and payment through the Member Portal*, members instantly receive a text message with a link to download the MemberConnect mobile app. Their digital credential is already active and ready to use with a simple tap of the Access button.
- Secure Access: The Access button generates a dynamic QR code or barcode that can be scanned by your Gym Assistant Access Mobile Reader or Check-In Barcode Scanner. A new code is created every time, preventing credentials from being shared.
- Reliable Operation: The mobile app works without a Wi-Fi or cellular signal near your club, providing consistent access even in areas with weak connectivity.
- Easy Payments*: Existing members who are denied entry due to unpaid fees can conveniently make payments directly in the app and regain immediate access.
Fully Integrated with Gym Assistant
All member activities are tracked in Gym Assistant, with customizable SMS notifications available for both members and administrators. Mobile credentials are:
- Instantly available—no shipping or processing delays.
- Assigned to a specific member and non-transferable.
- Available to international customers (note: online payments through the Member Portal are currently supported only in the U.S. and Canada).
Hardware Requirements:
- Door Access: The new Mobile Reader works with most Gym Assistant integrated Access Control systems. With additional hardware components, it can be added to any Barcode, Proximity, or Bluetooth system for dual operation. (A Gym Assistant integrated door controller is required.) In addition to reading codes displayed from the mobile app, this device is also capable of reading printed barcode key tags.
- Check-In: Gym Assistant Automated Barcode Check-In systems also support mobile credentials.
